LCC Notice Board

CRISIS UPDATE:
The Elders have been thinking through initiatives that will help us all stay connected as a Church family. Below is information we hope you will find helpful in accessing the resources we will be providing during this season.

Pastoral Care
During this time of crisis if you, or you know of somebody with a need please tell us. Whilst we cannot encourage personal visits, we can organise practical help, such as grocery deliveries etc for those who are vulnerable and without support otherwise.

Sunday Morning Message
Live Sunday morning messages are going out live at 10:30am. The link for all the LCC upcoming videos can be found by searching for “Pastor David Bailey” on YouTube (subscribe to be notified of new videos), or use this link:

Explorers Children:
In the Sunday morning videos description and posted on our Facebook page there will also be great resources provided by Karen of excellent Children’s videos and resources. Karen has special permission to use these online resources so please don’t miss them.

Finances
Most of LCC finances are dependent upon the Sunday morning offerings from the congregation. Some give directly to the bank using direct debit. But most choose to place offerings in the collection bags. This collection of finances is crucial to enable LCC to operate and in supporting local mission and missionaries abroad, as well as wages.
Our inability to take weekly offerings is a problem. We wanted to let you know that for those with access to online banking and banking apps – you can easily make a deposit online. All the details you need are here:

Sunday 7pm Prayer Meeting
During  the present crisis we would like to invite LCC to pray together every Sunday evening at 7pm.
Zoom is the software tool we will use to lead the prayer meeting.
This technology will allow you to access the meeting, use video and contribute. You can learn more and download here:

Healthy Moments & Small Groups
In addition to the above and our ongoing (now online - using zoom) small groups, we are starting a new initiative to help continue a healthy spiritual rhythm during the isolation this crisis is bringing for many. Healthy Moments will be led by Pastor Dave and is a series of short videos to encourage devotional mediation on scripture and prayer. The first will be 7pm on Tuesday. The video will go out live on the YouTube channel.
