We also have the pleasure of welcoming visitors who come to Cyprus on holiday from many other countries. By 2008, the number of people attending the church exceeded the seating capacity of the GEC building, and in 2009 LCC moved to larger premises. However, our time there finally ended when the building was sold. We became nomadic in hotels and schools for a while before settling at Larnaca Old Airport, now used as a university centre called Unicaf. We meet there at 10:30 every Sunday.
In 1987, a group of expatriates living in Larnaca formed the Larnaka Community Church (LCC), under the auspices of the Greek Evangelical Church (GEC). Through various outreach initiatives, LCC has grown steadily and become an international fellowship with members and regular attendees from Europe, North America, Africa, Asia and Australasia.
